Synopsis:
Learn practical and meaningful skills that will enable you to handle conflicts
more effectively at work and home. This
session provides you with an understanding of the root causes of conflicts,
triggers that escalate conflicts, elements and levels of conflict, communication
styles, listening skills, communication skills and problem solving techniques.
An emphasis is placed on understanding how to “read warning signs” for
potential violence. You will leave the session with the tools that provide the
means for you to effectively address conflicts before they get out of hand. A
multi-media format, interactive strategies, and a large dose of humor provide
you with the opportunity to express yourself in a non-threatening environment.
